Yields: 4-6 serving
meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-freeIngredients:
- 16 oz. Gluten-free Pasta
- 1/3 cup Gluten-free Bread Crumbs
- 1 - 4 oz. stick Earth Balance Butter
- 1/3 cup Nutritional Yeast
- 1 cup unsweetened plain Plant Milk
- 1 tbsp. Arrowroot
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp. Sea Salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cook Pasta according till just before al dente, about 9 minutes
- Meanwhile put remaining ingredients (except Butter) into Vitamix & blend until smooth
- Drain Pasta, return to pot, mix in "Cheese Sauce" & Butter
- Transfer Mac & Cheese to a 2 quart baking dish with lid
- Top with Bread Crumbs
- Cover & bake for 30 minutes
- Enjoy!
Hoff Thoughts: Do not make the Mac & Cheese portion ahead of time and bake later, too much sauce will absorb into the pasta.
