Yields: Enough for 1 lb. of Pasta
meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, oil-free, soy-free, gluten-free
Ingredients:
- 1 28oz. can Tomato Puree
- 1 5.5 oz. can Tomato Paste
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic (chopped)
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp. Dried Onion Flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Sea Salt
Directions:
- In a medium pot over medium-high heat, dry sautee Onions until translucent
- Add Garlic, stirring constantly for 1 minute
- Add Tomato Paste, stirring constantly until Paste darkens in color (a few minutes)
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer
- Simmer for 30-45 minutes before serving or storing
