Yields: About 3 cups
meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, oil-free, gluten-free
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. Tempeh
- 1 15 oz. can Black Beans (rinsed & drained)
- 1 medium Sweet Onion (chopped)
- 1 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1 tbsp. Liquid Smoke
- 4 tsp. Chili Powder
- 2 tsp. Cumin
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
Directions:
- Rough chop Tempeh
- Using a mini food processor, blend Tempeh until it resembles ground crumbles
- Meanwhile, in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, brown Onions
- Add Tempeh to slightly brown
- Add Black Beans, Tomato Sauce & Seasonings
- Heat through & stuff yours Tacos!!!
Hoff Thoughts: Ya can't have tacos without Guacamole or Taco Shells!!!
