GF Mushroom Gravy

GF Mushroom Gravy (adapted from McDougall's Mushroom Gravy)
Yields: about 4 cups
meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, oil-free, gluten-free

Ingredients:
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 tbsp Coconut Aminos
  • 6 tbsp Arrowroot or Kuzu Root

Directions:
  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, sautee Onions & Mushrooms until soft
  2. Whisk together Water, Aminos, & Arrowroot/Kuzu, stir into Onions & Mushrooms
  3. Stir constantly until mixture boils, thickens & turns a dark brown
