Ingredients:
- 2 Portabella Mushroom Caps
- Hoff's Red Pepper Hummus (or whatever hummus you have)
- Onions (chopped)
- Sprouts
- BBQ Sauce
- Mustard (optional)
- Prepare the Mushroom caps by removing the stem and gills, this can be done with a spoon & rinse
- Slather on a layer of BBQ Sauce on the inside of the cap
- Mound a generous amount of Hummus
- Layer on Onions & Sprouts
- Swirl on some Mustard
- That's it!
My2Cents: I'm not very into raw food - aside from wraps and smoothies, I don't eat as many raw foods as I should. So, it's rather cool that every time I eat this "sandwich" how "alive" it feels - so fresh, so full of energy. Kinda hard to explain, you'll just have to experience it for yourself!
