Try a straw!
Drinking with a straw naturally causes you to consume more water. Partly because you can continue to breathe, allowing you to suck it up for as long as you want! Partly because you can suck more water, than you can sip.
I put this theory to the test at work. I always bring two glass jars full of water - about 20oz each. Typically, I only finish one, far from my goal. When I used a straw, both waters plus my daily smoothie were polished off by the time lunch was finished!
